This is post is a summary of what my comp readers, Professor Jumadinova and Professor Brand, and I talked about on December 3rd and 5th, 2024.
December 3rd
With Professor Brand we talked about comparing the 3-D world to the computer world. That is part of the project that interests me because it is about the physical and the non-physical.
We also talked about different artists that use bio-art for referencing the posthuman.
During the break I need to practice with different materials. We talked about not worrying about finishing the body over break but deciding if I want it to be hard or soft.
I need to get a little bit more specific on product definition. What is the 3D element versus the 2D element. What are my non negotiables? Write them down.
December 5th
In this meeting Professor Jumadinova and I talked about the related works section. She liked by content but I need to make smoother connections between subjects. I also have to have 14 meeting posts before the end of the project.
Lastly, we discussed the conferences I could apply to including NCUR, PyCon, OCWIC, and FLAIRS. I need to submit my abstract to NCUR by Friday.
Goals
- Submit for conferences
- Work on literature review
- Work on finishing introduction chapter
