This is the 12th post in a meeting update blog. Welcome!
Today JJ and I looked through what I have for my comp. The biggest improvement I can make is to work on connecting sections and thoughts and making paragraphs flow better. I also need to organize what I’ve written better. I will also by honing my introduction. Right now it broadly talks about learning but I am going to narrow it to talk about self learning and studying. My tool provides a new way to study many different topics. I need to find more articles about learning strategies, because I am essentially selling this new strategy for learning. I will also add more about language learning information in the intro, because right now it is all in my literature review.
TODOs: - Hone my introduction learning: self learning and studying, thinking about learning (order: self motivated learning, language learning etc broad self learning, (how this connects to classroom learning later on), then chinese specifically) - Find articles about learning strategies In my writing sell a new strategy for learning, also add information about why I am demonstrating this on language (to demonstrate this learning technique it will be studied on tool XX instead of a case study, but a case study for learning chinese demonstrated on my tool) - Add more about language learning in the intro The readme.md is for developers, maybe making a site map would be helpful and it’s about how they are running it, add a site map - Adding a work flows folder to my mandarin tools repo, add linting checks etc. Look up GHAs for the different code that I am writing in - In related works: start with language learning, then move to memorization, language differences and writing systems → chinese, different online platforms and apps
