This is the 9th post in a my progress blog for week 10 of classes and 8th activity. Welcome!
Continue: One thing I will continue to do is keep my google doc that is where I keep track of all my work. I put all the links I have used, all the issues I run into, my plan, my goals, my progress and what I plan to work on next time in addition to ideas I have for my project. This document has been super helpful for me to keep track of my daily work and also helps me not lose different resources. I know I can always go back and find them. I know this will also help me as I start to work on my methods section and writing.
Improve: One thing I want to be better about is just setting little manageable pieces for me to work on rather than large overwhelming ones. It is hard to set the little goals because I have gotten so stuck in the big picture that I try to get done more than I can in any given study session. Setting smaller accomplishable goals will help me complete more. Because instead of getting overwhelmed by how much I still have to do inorder to get started this way I can keep chipping away at the little tasks I need to work even though that means hard coding pieces before I have built everything up more so that pieces don’t need to be hard coded in the long run.
To Start: I want to meet more with my second reader and other professors to get their input on my project. I also want to start working more on the writing side. This will be hard to start and add into my work of the technical piece. Adding more writing and reading time is something I will have to work on and balance and to be sure that I am including both aspects.
