For this activity we are discuss the themes coming together to constitute the body of literature behind your work
I came up with three main categories for my literature review section. The first section is going to talk about advanced analytics. Advanced analytics are a key part of my tool. These analytics are what make up my data and what will be fed into machine learning algorithms. Getting knowledge on where this data comes from and how it is used can be beneficial to me when making the tool. The second theme I am going to look at is machine learning algorithms. I don’t have much knowledge on machine learning algorithms so this is an important section. I plan to find and use articles that go through all the types of machine learning and what they are used for. In addition to this, finding sources that are about specific machine learning algorithms will be helpful. together MY final theme will be directly looking at machine learning in NBA prediction. This will give a narrow idea of how I can move forward with my tool and the best way to do so.
Due to a previous class I do have some of these sources. Mainly I have sources that relate to prediction in the NBA. I am planning on using these sources to fill out that section of the literature review. I will need to find sources on machine learning algorithms as well as advanced analytics.
