The main emphasis of this meeting was getting important dates down and reviewing the syllabus. For my project the key point from my meeting with my advisor was data. Data collection is a key part of my project so finding and knowing where I’m getting data from is important. As I am doing research I am looking for datasets and apis that contain all the information that is needed to predict the outcome of a game. Also making sure that it is easy to integrate and understand. Checking if these apis cost anything to use is also important so I can request funding if needed
Todo - Get data for machine learning - research machine learning models - Research GPT models - Possible data that requires payment - Research whether others or just users will use the product
There are several things on my to-do list before jumping headfirst into my project. Getting a baseline of what I am going to do and how I’m going to do it with what models and tools is important. With that being said the number one objective I need to do before all of these is making sure I get the data that is needed.
