Meeting notes: - Present tense in chapters - Discuss difference in my tool - Citations for ethics chapter - Headings for Literature Review
Change tool description paragraph make sure it it present tense, say the name of the tool right away Make it more differentiated from other tools Citations on for ethical implications Add sub headings to related work
The first point in this meeting was discussing some of my writing using future tense. This is mainly an issue in my paragraph where I am introducing and discussing the tool that I am making. It is also important that I try not to use I when writing for this project.
The second talking point is the difference in my tool. I didn’t effectively discuss how my tool is different from others. I plan to show this using the dynamic dashboard that I am making for the tool. This allows for easy use and the user not having to have expertise in using tools like this one.
The third point in this meeting was citations for the ethics chapter. Currently I do not have any citations for this chapter, rather I thought of them based on what I wrote about how the tool works.
Finally we discussed headings for literature review. The literature review section is going to be split up by themes. I can create headings to show where these themes are in the chapter.
