In this class period, we looked at different slides and debated which slides were good slides and bad slides.
Here is my slides outline:
Slide 1 - Title Page - Project Name and my name Slide 2 - Address the problem that I am aiming to fix. The problem that I am trying to solve is media bias in the national basketball association. Teams get coverage when sometimes they shouldn’t and it makes team rating lopsided. Slide 3 - My project is a dashboard that will display graphical information including tweets about nba teams and what is said in those tweets. I will complete a sentiment analysis on these tweets. Slide 4 - This project could be used by these media sources and the National Basketball Association itself to see how their league is being represented and if it is being represented fairly. Places like ESPN should not be reporting on certain teams way more consistently than other teams. Slide 5 - I have had twitter for a long time and this is a problem that I have noticed from being on it for a long time and being a part of the nba social media community. I have worked on projects before that have dealt with data like this so I am comfortable working with data in this format. Slide 6 - Eliminate/Expose media Bias. Perform sentiment analysis. Create a dashboard to show this data.
