Talked about the current state of my project idea and what I did since last meeting. We talked about how I need to get data of the nba player and teams so that I can use it when searching for them in the articles. I also need to run a natural language toolkit through the data to be able to run the sentiment analysis. Then when using NewsAPI, I need to mess around with the keywords to figure out what ones give me the best results.
- get data of teams and players
- run the nltk through the data
- mess around with the keywords in the articles
- start getting data before the NBA season starts
- figure out how to save the data in a json file after running it
