For this activity, we had to decide what version we were going to label our project as. We had to figure out what major version, minor version, and what patch count we wanted to put for our project at the point that it was at currently. For my project, I decided to start it at v0.1.0. After talking with my advisor and trying to figure out what version is the best for my project we decied that this was the best. My project has not gone through any changes as I have just started it so starting with a 0 for major version makes sense. For the minor version, I have made one small change to my project so we thought it was a good idea to make the minor version a 1. Since I just made that change, I have not made any more patches towards my next minor version change so the last number was a 0 also. To become a 1.x.x version, I would say that I need to finish my current implementation first. My understanding of a change to the major version number is a large change in the project. To be able to change this to major version 1, I would need to complete the dashboard and the sentiment analysis features on my current major version to be able to move to the next one.
