Activity 7 was about giving our group an update about where our project is at and making sure that we sign up for a mock interview. When I signed up for the mock interview, I talked about doing either type of interview because I feel like they would both be helpful when preparing for a real one. When sharing to the group about the progress on my project, I showed them what my output looks like in my terminal and what I need to do before the next time we are in class.
After setting up the interview and doing it, it helped me learn about how interviews in the real world are going to look like. It also taught me how to act during an interview and what questions I could possibly ask them. By knowing the correct techniques and having prepared for an interview, this can help land you a job. This was very important for me because this is something that I need to start thinking about and be prepared for. By messing up and learning in practice interviews, this creates the opportunity for you to do good on your first actual interview. This way you can have a chance of having a good interview the first time you land one.
Overall, doing this practice interview was very helpful and I think that it could possibly one day help land me a job.
